Jack works as an
agribusiness consultant with a range
of farming, genetics, and
agribusiness clients.
Jack’s client work is
predominately with sheep, beef, and
deer farmers throughout Otago and
Canterbury with consultancy focusing
on longer-term strategy, business
planning, and business analysis.
He works with several sheep and deer
genetics businesses
throughout New
Zealand
on breeding strategy and the
operational aspects of implementing
these strategies.
Prior to Abacus Jack worked for
Wrightson Consulting which followed
five years work and study in the
United States, United Kingdom, and
Eastern Europe. The time in
the U.S. included completing a
Masters in Agribusiness at the
University of Illinois. Jack’s
international consulting experience
has included agricultural
development work in Armenia and
Tajikistan.
