Peter is Managing Director of
AbacusBio. Following a highly
successful career in scientific
research and management, Peter has
been in business on his own account
in the fields of evaluation of
technology, intellectual property
development and project management
since 1997. Peter has wide ranging
experience, especially in
applications of technology in the
agricultural and food sectors.
He is a former General Manager of
AgResearch Invermay and of the
AgResearch Sheep & Deer Division for
5 years from 1992. He is author or
co-author of more than 200
scientific and technological
publications.
He is or has been a member of
numerous task groups and specialist
committees investigating R&D
strategy in both New Zealand and
Australia, an expert reviewer for
scientific proposals, theses,
scientific papers and technology
development plans and supervisor of
several post-graduate students. He
is a member of number of public
committees and holds directorships
in a number of companies, including Blis Technologies Limited.
