AbacusBio celebrates decade of excellence
In April, AbacusBio reached its 10-year anniversary as a leading provider of agribusiness consulting services.
Since its founding in 2006, AbacusBio has evolved to become a key player in agribusiness innovation internationally.
AbacusBio was founded on the principle of improving agri-food businesses through strategic science and technology; combining depth of technical and commercial expertise to add and grow value – from farm to market.
Over the past 10 years, we have experienced consistent growth. Industry recognition and leadership have also grown, particularly in the area of livestock breeding and management.
“More and more farmers, as well as stakeholders across the value chain, are taking notice of how our expertise adds value to agribusiness, in terms of efficiency, productivity, profitability, and sustainability,” says AbacusBio founder and consultant Peter Fennessy, who co-formed the company with colleagues Neville Jopson and Peter Amer.
From a small team of 10, AbacusBio has grown to a team of 30, made up of multiple nationalities. The team brings together interdisciplinary backgrounds and skillsets, in genetics, agriculture, statistical programming, information and communications technology, and commerce.
“Our clients experience first-hand the benefits from this unique multidisciplinary perspective,” AbacusBio managing director Anna Campbell says.
“Making a difference for our clients is still our number one goal,” she adds. As AbacusBio continues towards the future, we will work hard to deliver solutions and tools to drive sustainable value-added food production.
Our clients’ success is our success, Peter Fennessy says, and we are proud to celebrate a decade of success, learning, and progress.
“This milestone is a testament to AbacusBio’s commitment to continued innovation, our clients, and the future of the company and the agricultural industry.”
