Pedigree Navigator visualises the lineage of a specified animal or person.
The individual of interest is selected, and then a pedigree structure is created. The
structure is completely customisable for size, colours, fonts and spacing according to
each individual user's preference. The graphic can then be navigated, printed, saved or
exported in different formats, such as PDF.
Pedigree Navigator allows the user to visualise patterns of heritable trait transmission, and is a tool designed
to help find specific patterns within many generations.
The pedigree views can be fully customised, leaving out unwanted individuals, sorting on specific traits and opening
lineages of specific individuals in the pedigree for closer inspection.
Pedigree Navigator allows colour gradients to be applied for visualisation of patterns of trait values throughout
the pedigree. Along with customisable views of the data, it is a great tool for visually finding trends within
hierarchical data-sets.
